The Scott County Communication Center is located within the Scott County Jail in Benton, Missouri and is in operation 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
This office answers 911 telephone calls and dispatches for the following emergency departments and providers: South Scott County Ambulance, NBC Fire, Oran Fire, Vanduser Fire, Scott County Rural Fire and Rescue, Benton Fire, Morley Fire, Chaffee Fire, Perkins Fire, NBC Rescue, Morley First Responders, and Vanduser First Responders.

No, this 911 center does not answer VoIP 911 calls at this time. VoIP does not give information about the caller - no name, no phone number and no location.
Do you answer 911 calls from cell phones?
Yes. The Scott County 911 Center is Phase II ready. Phase II means we are able to locate your cell phone by using latitude and longitude coordinates.
Does this work with all cell phones?
No.
What is Phase II?
This works only if your cell phone is GPS-equipped.
Position Available: Full and Part-time Telecommunicator Trainee. Applicant must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of Emergency Service Communications preferred but not required. Will train.
