The Circuit Clerk's office is located on the second floor of the Scott County Courthouse (Civil & Administrative Unit, Room 208), (Probate & Family Court Unit, Room 240). The Criminal Division is located in the Judicial Building which is located behind the courthouse.

If you received a summons for a Jury Trial scheduled on Thursday, December 2nd, 2021, you will need to come to the front entrance of the main courthouse in Benton by 8:30 am and be checked in by the Bailiff. Masks ARE required at this time. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you. Please continue to check the jury information line (573-545-3050), our fb page, or the Scott County Circuit Clerk website for jury updates as we often have last minute changes.

Longer Delivery Times for First-Class Mail: The postal service added one to two days to their delivery service standards for First-Class Mail starting October 1, 2021. If mailing payments or filings, please allow 5 - 7 business days for delivery. There is a drop box on the south end of the Courthouse. If using the drop box, please make sure you address it to the Circuit Clerk's Office for prompt delivery.

Access My Tickets (AMT) is an enhancement to Case.net that will be available on December 1, 2020, for self-represented litigants to eFile on violation bureau offenses (traffic tickets). The new AMT icon will be visible to everyone on Case.net. AMT includes the following functionality:
· Allows a self-represented litigant to communicate with participating prosecutors and courts electronically.
· Gives a self-represented litigant the opportunity to plead guilty and dispose of a violations bureau case without the need to physically appear in court.
· Allows a self-represented litigant to eFile documents with the court.

Attention Missouri Travelers: REAL ID Enforcement: Missouri
According to the Official Website of the Department of Homeland Security, Missouri has received another extension for REAL ID Enforcement. This extension allows Federal agencies to accept Missouri driver's license and identification cards until August 1, 2019 for all federally regulated commercial aircraft, Federal facilities and nuclear power plants. The Scott County Circuit Clerk's office is an official Passport Acceptance Agency. See below for Passport Application information.
